Great Harwood F.C. : ウィキペディア英語版
Great Harwood F.C.

Great Harwood F.C. was an English football club based in Great Harwood, Lancashire. Their colours were red and white, and they played at the Showground.
==History==
The club was founded in the 1880s. In 1908 the joined Division Two of the Lancashire Combination. After World War I the league was reduced to a single division, which the club remained in until 1947, when they were relegated to the re-established Division Two after finishing bottom of the league. They won the league in its final season (1968–69) and became founder members of the Northern Premier League. At the time had a host of former Football League players including ex-England internationals Ronnie Clayton and Bryan Douglas, and ex-Welsh international Roy Vernon. In 1970–71 they reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time, losing 6–2 at home to Rotherham United.
In 1978 financial problems caused the club to fold. Following their demise, Harwood Wellington became the town's leading football club, adopting the name Great Harwood Town and taking over residency of the Showground
